2G plus rule for all guests
From December 15, 2021, guests may only stay in hotels if they can prove that they have been fully vaccinated against Corona or have recovered*.
In addition, a negative rapid antigen test (24 hours old) or a negative PCR test (48 hours old) must be presented before check-in. The test obligation does not apply to guests:
• if they have received a booster vaccination after full vaccination
• for vaccinated guests whose second vaccination was less than three months ago
• for recovered guests whose corona infection was less than three months ago
• for guests who are double vaccinated and recovered
*People are considered recovered if the corona infection was detected with a PCR test. This test result must be at least 28 days old and no more than six months old.
If travellers are not vaccinated or have not recovered for professional, social-ethical or medical reasons, there is the option of presenting a test upon arrival. A negative rapid antigen test not older than 24 hours is required as a test. A PCR test may be 48 hours old. These tests must be renewed every 24 or 48 hours. However, these guests are not allowed to enter the areas of the hotel that are used by guests with the 2 G plus rule (breakfast room, hotel bar and sauna).
The same regulation applies to conferences and events for professional reasons.
School-age children and young people present a negative test result upon arrival, which was either issued as part of the school test or is not older than 72 hours (this may also be a self-test with self-disclosure from a parent or guardian). Persons who cannot be vaccinated for medical reasons can be guests with presentation of a medical certificate and a daily negative test.
